Maddy graduated from Sports and Exercise Science at Sydney University, Australia in 2010. She then practiced within Physiotherapy clinics as a Pilates instructor before completing her Masters of Physiotherapy degree at the University of Queensland, Australia in 2013. Maddy has primarily worked in outpatient musculoskeletal physiotherapy for the last 13 years.
A central focus to her practice draws from her background in movement analysis. Maddy combines her manual treatment techniques and clinical pilates training principles to address a patient’s current symptoms and improve their overall long term function and confidence in movement whether your returning to sport or tackling those everyday tasks.
In addition to her instruction in the Pilates studio, Maddy has post graduate training in dry needling techniques, hydrotherapy, chronic pain, and spinal and joint mobilisations.
Since moving to Canada in 2017, Maddy loves spending her down time in the mountains and on the water with her husband and two children.
